According to a national pet owners survey in 2017, just over 94 million homes have cats living as household pets in the United States. Doctors Bob and Gloria Esbensen opened Arlington Cat Clinic in 1988 in response to that growing number of feline families. They saw an opportunity to focus on feline diseases, in a “cat friendly/dog free” environment. The clinic fills a unique niche in the Northwest Suburbs, and was the third feline veterinary clinic established in the Chicagoland area.

Purrfect Care
The Team at ACC is superb. Dr. Frey is so caring, compassionate and thorough. My cat Marley is going on 17 years and had recent issues with hyper thyroid and kidney issues. Dr. Frey has been spot on in terms of how to regulate Marley’s condition. She takes the time out to thoroughly explain the medical basis of the cause of the issues, recommended options and the various alternatives. I know Marley is in such good hands!!!

I love this place!! We’ve been coming here for the past 8 years. I love how they greet and take care of my babies like if they were their own. They’re transparent about the procedures done and the cost. I honestly have nothing bad to say and I highly recommend them.
It’s one of the few vets I’ve ever trusted, and the only place I’ll still take my cats after 10+ years. The staff’s always been on top of their game and the doctors solid. Wish I hadn’t had to visit them today, but even at the end of a pet’s life, and amid a pandemic, they were caring and helpful. So I can’t possibly ask for more.
The level of care and attention was far beyond what I’ve experienced at other vets. The doctor answered all my questions thoroughly and spent as much time as needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great online portal for completing forms.
I took my newly adopted 8 month old cat to the clinic to see Dr. Gloria today. I was beyond impressed with the staff and Dr. Gloria. I was a bit overwhelmed with some things going on with my cat and Dr. Gloria explained everything and answered all my questions. She made me feel so comfortable!
