Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Our senior kitties should have a general checkup every 6 months. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your cats feeling their best.

Microchip Identification

According to PetFinder, over 10 million pets go missing every year, and one in three pets will go missing at some
point in their life. A microchip is a tiny device which contains unique identifying information about a pet. This allows missing cats/dogs to be returned to their rightful home as quickly as possible. It is one of the simplest ways to protect your pet in case they ever get lost. Pharmacy

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, flea and tick control products, and heartworm
preventatives to meet the needs of your cat. We also carry several lines of prescription diets including Hills, Royal Canin and Purina.
Disease Management

As advocates of preventative medicine, we recommend annual exams for your cat to monitor
weight and stature, as well as vaccinating for rabies and distemper. As your cat matures into its senior years, age 8 and above, we recommend an exam twice a year to monitor for the onset of diseases that can commonly affect the senior cat. We may recommend blood panels and urinalysis to complete our profile on your cat. Many aging disease processes can be managed effectively, if caught early, to give our patients a longer quality of life. We work collaboratively with you to develop a plan that is manageable for you and your cat.
